Have a Rockin Valetines Day!

Hello everyone! And an extra special hello to my new followers :0) Thanks for joining me!
I wanted to share with you another Valentine I made the the new release from Jaded Blossom. These stamps are so fun to create with! I made this card without using pink, which seems to be difficult for me!
I hope you enjoy and have a Rockin' Valentines day!

I Feel the Love Project #7

Good morning! I have been sending cards to the I Feel the Love Project sponsored by Madison over at Funky Cards for a few months now. This project has inspired me to create. I love sending a smile or a hug through a card. This month the recipient lives in Chile, and is in need of a long distance hug. Please consider supporting this wonderful project and sending a card, a smile and a hug to someone :0)

I dig you!!

I love the new valentine stamps from Jaded Blossom! I was very excited to start creating valentines with such cute sediments! Here is my first creation with the "Valetine Treats" set. I hope you dig it :0)

Blog Makeover!!!!

Holy cuteness!! Check out the new look! My crafty friend and SUPER AMAZINGLY talented friend Candace from Paper Crafts by Candace and Jaded Blossom redesigned my blog. And she added the picture of my bestest buddy Boomer on my button! Please grab my button and show off her amazing talent :0)
I am going really really try to post more projects. It was my news year resolution to keep up on my projects and post more to my blog. Now that it is so freakin' cute(!!) I am so excited to post stuff and I can't wait to see what the future holds!! :0)
Oh my goodness I almost forgot to tell you about my new Facebook Page! I created a fan page for ease of posting projects (as to not clog up my non-crafty friends walls) and I added a tab (ALL BY MYSELF!!! WHOOP WHOOP!) right under my banner so you can go there and "like" it to keep up with me on Facebook also! :0)

Thanks again to Candace! :0)

Inspired by...?

Happy Hump Day! I know it's a short work week but man it feels like this week is taking forever!! I can't wait until the weekend-down time and time to get crafty! :0)
So I have had these cards made up for a while and the have just been piled up on the corner of my craft table/kitchen table (lol!) for weeks! I just keep moving them from one corner to another. And they needed a home! So I kept remembering a cute card box that held cards and envelopes, that would make a great home for theses cards BUT for the life of me I couldn't remember where I had seen it!! Soooo I thought I had created this box in my head and was feeling kinda good about myself....then it hit me.....'Paper Crafts by Candace' has a handmade card club and my crafty friend made an adorable box a few quarters back that held all the beautiful cards she created for the club!! :0) I knew I saw it somewhere and I only realized where the inspiration came from after I counted the cards I had made and there were 12! Something in my head clicked! Thank you Candace for sharing your creativity :0) and for being my inspiration on this project.
Here are a sample of the cards that I made and the last picture is the card box I was inspired to make from Candace! :0)

First attempt at sewing

Hi everyone! I hope that the new year is treating you well. I decided this weekend that I was FINALLY going to figure out how to use the sewing machine I bought on black Friday. I got it out of the box, read the directions (which isn't normal for me), attempted to thread it and failed and then stared at the machine feeling defeated for about 20 minutes!! I was so disappointed. But thank goodness my sister Kim came to rescue me yesterday and we spent some qualitity time going over the basics!

So today I tried to sew all by myself-it didn't start out well at all. My hubby to be asked me if I had ever had a home economics class--the answer is obviously NO! He said he could sew me in circles!! He was very encouraging and told me to keep practicing. But he also knew that if he told me he could do it better then I could that I wouldn't quit until I got it perfect! (I'm a little competitive with him. Lol)

So here is my 4th attempt at an iPhone sleeve. It seemed very simple, but I have trouble sewing a straight line. Lol. As you can see...trust me this is the best of the 4 I made! :0)
I'm not sure if I am a "sewer" yet but it was fun to try something new! I think I am going to attempt an iPad sleeve next.....maybe. I miss paper!
