#AJO Pay It Forward Reciepts

Good morning! I am excited to share with you my Jaded Blossom Design Team project for today and a special story that goes with it.

An 18-year old girl Penn State college student named Alyssa text her mom and asked if they could go get Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks in the morning..little did she know that Alyssa's life would be tragically cut short due to complications from epilepsy.

But through their grief and sadness, Alyssa's parents did go to Starbucks....and they bought 40 Pumpkin Spice Lattes and gave them to the customers with Alyssa's initials on them #ajo.

All they asked is that the customer pay it forward in memory of their daughter.

Little did they know that their one random act of kindness would start a rapid chain of events...soon #ajo was trending, coffees were purchased, restaurant bills were being paid, and small gestures of kindness were popping up EVERYWHERE - each one just asking to pay it forward in Alyssa's name.

 

So here is my project today:

 

I made cards using the Jaded Blossom Journal Die to give out as my husband and I #ajo (yes..it is a verb too!) random people :)

 

I used the Jaded Blossom Gift Card Die on the back of this one to surprise someone with.

 

 

I also used the Jaded Blossom Awareness Die on the front along with the Candy Charms & Banners and Alphabet Candies to put her initials on the front.

 

 

Alyssa was studying nursing so she could make a difference in people's lives. Please help continue to keep her memory alive, and raise awareness for epilepsy by doing a random act of kindness.

Jaded Blossom October Challenge

Hello Everyone! I can't believe it is October, I love fall. :)
 But a new month means a new Jaded Blossom Challenge!

Here is my challenge project!

 

 

 

This Halloween treat box and the ghosts are both from Silhouette Store. I used Jaded Blossom's Candy Charms and Banners for the banner, and Alphabet Candies for the "BOO".  I used Trendy Twine to string up the banner.  Rumple Ribbon Halloween Grunge for the bow. I used Jaded Blossom's Halloween Candies for the kisses.

Jaded Blossom August Release Hop!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's August Release Blog Hop.   Now if you're here from the talented KATE then you're in the right place, if you're just passing through and you want to start at the beginning click HERE If you missed my projects this week here they are!!

I made my dear friend a diaper cake for her baby shower!

 

I took newborn size diapers and rolled them up and secured them with rubber bands. Then formed a circle and tied them with ribbon to keep them in place.
 

Then I decorated it with the following Jaded Blossom items:

I used Candy Charms and Banners for the flags for the name banner and then punched out his name with Alphabet Candies. I strung them from 2 Jaded Blossom straws with Trendy Twine and just slid the straws into the fold of the diapers.

I used Candy Charms and Banners again for the banners on the sides of the 'cake' and stamped sentiments from Sweet Baby on the charms.

 

The tag of the monkey is a sentiment from Sweet Baby and I used the "To & From" from Reindeer Poop Revamp
