Hello everyone! Today is my day to post for the Jaded Blossom Design Team and I am excited to share a cute Halloween card and a quick tip when using the Jaded Blossom Dies.
So lets start with what I used!
Here is the cute card I made:
I cut the cat from the Silhoutte Store, used DCVW paper for the background, used Trendy Twine Grape Licorice for the bow, and Martha Stewart drippy goo punch for the well...drippy purple paper!
I use the
Jaded Blossom Dies a lot! In case you have never used them, I wanted to show you how quick and easy it is to get a perfect cut everytime!
Here are the supplies I use:
Cuttlebug
Plates A B C
Place your FLAG DIE on the paper you would like to use. I used the Scalloped die from
FLAG DIE 2 for the purple, the smaller die from
FLAG DIE for the pattern grey paper, and the small die from
FLAG DIE 2
And here is my tip for the day. It doesn't seem like much but if you have ever struggled with getting your dies to stay put on the plates it is a sure fix.
I place a piece of scotch tape over my die onto the paper and the plate to hold them still. Easy fix :0) Oh and if you notice I have written a little number on the back of my dies also..the number is which FLAG DIE set the dies came from! (helps me remember so I can tell you correctly!)
Layer your plates A B (with the paper and dies taped down) C
Crank them through your Cuttlebug...
And now you have 3 perfectly cut flags! (this picture is the back of the dies)
And they layer perfect!!!
